Primary, Junior & Senior Stage

Primary School (Stages 3, 5 & 6)

Primary education typically caters to children aged 5 to 12 years.

  • Stage 3,5 & 6: Years 3 to 6
    Students at this level focus on foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, social studies, science, creative arts, and physical education. Emphasis is placed on developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a nurturing environment.


Junior School (Stages 4)

Junior School usually includes Years 7 and 8, where students are approximately 12 to 14 years old.

  • This marks the beginning of secondary education.

  • Students transition from a single-teacher model to subject-specific teachers.

  • The curriculum becomes broader and more structured, covering English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Technology, the Arts, and Languages.
    Focus is on developing independent learning habits, critical thinking, and preparing for more rigorous senior studies.


Senior School (Stages 5 & 6)

Senior School spans Years 9 to 12, catering to students aged 14 to 18 years.

  • Stage 9–10: Middle secondary years

  • Stage 11–12: Senior secondary years, leading to the Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
    Students begin to specialize in subjects of interest, including elective courses, and may start preparing for post-school pathways such as university, TAFE, apprenticeships, or work. Emphasis is placed on academic performance, goal setting, and career planning.
